It is cute! I'm sure it will be fabulous after he is finished tinkering with it! At least it's a pretty color ;)
it's lovely! What will you do with it? Do you know which year it comes form?
I love it! I've always wanted a scooter...I've been thinking I should try to rent one for a day while I'm out here. Will you get to enjoy this one (or do you already have one??)?I know I've said it before, but I really love your blog Amanda! It's so pretty and well laid-out...you are inspiring me to try to do more with mine! :)
Yes, I know it's lovely... it's just that I would rather put some money into fixing our kitchen floor and he would rather buy scooters!Shearer's Girl: It's a 1970 Vespa Rally 180. My hubby plans to get it fixed up enough to ride it around for fun. It still has the original paint, so he doesn't want to have it completely restored.Crista: No, I don't have a scooter. Tom has another (modern) Vespa that is also in need of repair. My legs are too short to ride it... I wouldn't be able to stop at stoplights... the whole thing would tip over! You wouldn't have any trouble though! The vintage one (above) is actually lower and I think I could comfortably ride it myself, but I probably never will... Tom would probably kill me if anything happened to it... I'll stick to bicycles! He might take me on rides, though. You should rent one out in AK though, that would be lots of fun!
What a great scooter. I love it just the way it is!
Please leave a comment... I'd love to hear from you!
